PUBLIC STANDARDS

Evidence & Claims Standard

Startup Runway uses clear public labels so visitors can distinguish source-backed context, company-reported perspective, documented result, and information that remains private.

HOW TO READ A RECORD

Clear labels for public material.

Each label tells visitors what kind of information they are reading, without overloading every page with a separate legal note.

Source-backed · Company-reported · Documented result · Public context

01

Operating presence

A documented U.S. operating presence, such as an approved entity, office, operating base or authorized deployment record. The record names its public context and period.

Source: Public source or authorized company record.
02

Pilot

A defined, time-bounded proof activity with a named decision condition. A discovery call, product demonstration or informal introduction is not a pilot.

Source: Authorized program, City, enterprise or company record with scope and decision owner.
03

Customer

A commercial customer relationship only when the company or authorized public source permits that description. Pipeline, meeting and prospective-buyer activity are excluded.

Source: Authorized company disclosure or independently verifiable public record.
04

Public record context

The public context associated with a published record: source material, historical context, refreshed reference, or private context.

Source: Every public statement remains within the public material available for that record.

Professional-services boundary

Clarity for the decision. The right experts for the formal work.

Startup Runway helps leadership teams clarify market decisions, align the right ecosystem relationships, and determine a practical next step. Specialist advice and formal decisions remain with the appropriate parties.

  • Legal, tax, immigration, accounting, regulatory, procurement, investment, site-selection, and institutional approvals remain with qualified advisers and the relevant decision-makers.
  • A conversation, introduction, public tool, or planning pathway is not presented as a guaranteed commercial or operating result.
