DATA USE · FORM-BY-FORM RECORD

What each public form records—and why.

A form-by-form Startup Runway data-use record for public inquiry, lead magnets, the U.S. Entry Decision Canvas and operating briefs.

Effective: September 23, 2026

Startup Runway publishes this page to explain website use and platform behavior clearly. It does not expand the service commitments stated elsewhere on this site.

01

Confidential inquiry

Records name, work email, entity, country of origin, inquiry type and optional summary after consent. The request is stored privately and routed to an accountable owner. A hidden website field is used to reject automated submissions.

02

Richardson City Location Brief

Records name, work email, organization, country or market and selected decision focus after consent. The request is stored privately, routed to an accountable owner and then opens the requested public PDF resource.

03

U.S. Entry Decision Canvas

The optional browser save stores only the six self-reported planning selections in this browser for up to 30 days and can be cleared from the Canvas. Name, work email, organization and the six inputs are transferred only after consented submission; the submitted record is routed privately to an accountable owner.

04

Operating brief

Records request type, name, work email, organization, decision brief and an optional readiness score after consent. Company GTM requests also record the submitted origin market, destination market, sector, company stage, primary objective and decision timing. The submission is a private qualified-request record and is routed for a next-step decision.

05

Cookies and public interaction measurement

The site may use essential browser storage and an Umami measurement script. It records only allowlisted aggregate event names and coarse static labels needed to evaluate the decision journey: public brief starts, section-depth milestones, source openings, public-asset completion and private-handoff openings. It excludes search parameters, URL fragments, form values, contact details, organization names, free text and direct identifiers. It does not load on protected operating routes and respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.

06

What is not represented

The current public platform does not claim to sell submissions, publish private form answers, make automated eligibility decisions or use the forms to provide legal, tax, investment, immigration, regulatory or site-selection advice.
