Startup Runway is an international business accelerator headquartered at Richardson IQ® — a 1,200-acre innovation campus co-located with the University of Texas at Dallas — in Richardson, Texas. Founded in 2023 by Mahesh Nandyala, the organization was born from a decade-plus of experience serving the Government of Andhra Pradesh as IT Ambassador — where Mahesh identified a critical gap: exceptional companies were failing to cross borders not for lack of product, but for lack of the right institutional infrastructure. Startup Runway was built to close that gap. Since its formal launch in Richardson in August 2024, Startup Runway has facilitated the US market entry of 24 technology companies across artificial intelligence, fintech, blockchain, and medical technology, contributing to $737M in facilitated foreign direct investment in the Richardson area. The organization operates 8 active market entry corridors, with particular depth in the India–US corridor. Startup Runway's institutional network includes over 80 active MOUs with government bodies, industry associations, and research institutions. Key partners include the Government of Telangana, Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (Andhra Pradesh), FITT IIT Delhi, Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ), and the University of Texas at Dallas.
